1938, April - Shozo Ujita Sensei joins the Ritsumeikan University Karatedo Club. He was at the time, 21 years old.
1939 - Shozo Ujita Sensei visits Okinawa and trains with Chojun Miyagi Sensei.
1941 - Shozo Ujita is elected Captain of Ritsumeikan University Karatedo Team.
1942 - Shozo Ujita Sensei and Jitsuei Yogi Sensei invite Miyagi Sensei to teach at Ritsumeikan University.
1942, July - Shozo Ujita Sensei Graduates from Ritsumeikan University and joins the Japan Imperial Army.
1946, November - Shozo Ujita Sensei opens his famous Kenbukan Dojo in Wakayama - Japan.

1951, April - Shozo Ujita Sensei is elected as a Member of the Wakayama City Assembly.
1959, April - Shozo Ujita Sensei becomes a member of the [Japan] Wakayama Prefectural Assembly.
1964, April - Shozo Ujita Sensei acceds to President of Wakayama Karatedo Federation.
1966, July - Shozo Ujita Sensei accends to Mayor of Wakayama and will maintain this position for the next Twenty [20] years until 1986.
1968, May - Shozo Ujita Sensei becomes Shihan of the Wakayama Medical College Karatedo club.
1969, April - Ujita Shozo Sensei elected to be the Vice President of JFK. He would later become President of JFK Gojukai in April of 1977.
1971, August - Shozo Ujita Sensei becomes the head of the J.K.F Kansai Area Council and acts as the Vice-Chairman of All Japan Mayor's Conference.
1972, April 2nd - Shozo Ujita Sensei and others ratify the All Japan Karatedo Gojokai organization and form the JKF Gojukai.
1972, April 2nd - Shozo Ujita Sensei is elected First Chairman of the board of the JKF Gojukai.
1972, April - Shozo Ujita Sensei becomes Acting Chairman of All Japan Mayor's Conference.
1977, April - Shozo Ujita Sensei becomes the Official 2nd President of the JKF Gojukai.
1986, April - Shozo Ujita Sensei accends from his position of Mayor of Wakayama a position he maintained for the past Twenty [20] years since 1966 and becomes a member of Wakayama Prefectural Assembly.
1986, September - Shozo Ujita Sensei is recommended to be the Wakayama city honorary Mayor.
1989, June - Shozo Ujita Sensei, President of the JKF Gojukai and founder of Kenbukan Gojukai, passes away.
