SAIKO SHIHAN OSAMU HIRANO: 8th Dan JKF Founder and President: NGKKI
Saiko-Shihan Osamu Hirano was born in 1939 at Wakayama, Japan. He starts Goju Ryu Karate at the age of seven (7) years under Shozo Ujita Sensei and later continues his training under Gogen Yamaguchi.
In 1965 he won Gold medals for individual and team kumite at the All Japan Goju Ryu Karate Championship. In 1967, 1968, and 1969 he won Gold for team event at the All Kansai District Karate Championships. In 1968 he founded and established his own organisation called KUYUKAI GOJU RYU with the honbu dojo in Wakayama, Japan.
In 1988 he was awarded 8th Dan by the Japan Karate Federation.

The All Japan Karatedo Gojukai hosts its 2nd Championship tournament in Wakayama Prefecture Japan. First place winner being Hirano Osamu, 2nd place being Shuji Tasaki [competing with a broken arm].
